The CannonLady was really interesting. Her father invented the human cannon and he still holds the Guinness Book of Records for the longest cannon blast. She started the show. After the national anthem, the lights went down and she came out. She climbed into the cannon and was launched with the loudest sound of the night. She flew through the air and landed in a net on the other side of the arena. It was pretty dramatic. Johanna sent us the photo below of her getting shot out of the cannon at the Blue Cross Arena. I went to Cannonlady.com but it was sort of outdated.

This whole event is a lot like the circus. The CannonLady is married to Radical Rob, who would jump over a pile of wrecked cars that were towed in for the night from Northside Salvage in East Rochester. They were on the Jay Leno show. The announcer interviewed Rad Rod after his jump and he said. "Some people smoke stuff to get high and some people drink stuff to get high but I get high doin' this." Johanna got this shot of Radical Rob jumping over rhe Monster trucks.
