They told us what the name of their boat meant but we have forgotten. It was Carol's birthday the day before. We planned to do this little book as a birthday gift. We brought beer down with us. |
John is Canadian and he knows good beer. They had had a string of visitors and were painting when we showed up.This marine paint they use is tough stuff. Metal in the water is a rust reaction waiting to happen so this is an ongoing process. |

The odor was thick. The paint is mixed with some other medium and it doesn't dry, it cures. And the second coat has to go on in a matter of days or there won't be any pores in the surface for it to adhere to. |
You don't want to stray too far from the blue and white nautical color scheme unless you want to stick out like a sore thumb and probably pay double for the odd colors. Besides white is a must when you're in the sun all day. |
