So once they had the paint mixed, they had to keep going and we were probably distracting them because John stepped in his own work. John explained that it has cyanide in it and if you get any on you it's a toss up as to whether the paint is worse to have on you or the thinner that you use to remove it. |
This is their whole apartment, their whole house here, all their belongings inside this forty foot boat. Going down under was very suspenseful. The electric line here recharges their 12 volt twin marine batteries and allows Carol to run her cappuccino maker in the morning. |

Their kitchen was well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables and interesting can goods. It's all here including contact with the outside. |
Carol showed us her "Pocket Mail" service. It allows them to send and receive e-mail while in port by dialing an 800 number at a pay phone and putting this little Sharp machine up to the receiver. Very cool. Cell phones are still too expensive. They speculated that their next electronic purchase would probably be radar. |
