The living room looked very cozy. Ready to curl up during a storm with one of the books tucked away on their shelves. Some of the marinas have book exchanges where you can drop off five paperbacks for five you haven't read.

John had a lot of what Carol called "eye candy," spy stuff with nautical storylines. Their bedroom was a real nest. They were down here when Carol says they had a "man-on-board."

They were parked along the Charlotte pier and were sound asleep when a couple from the Penny Arcade climbed aboard looking for a place to shack up. John grabbed the crowbar and came up screaming like a mad man. They ran terrified

A fellow boat person walked by and the two of them started talking shop. Sometimes these people run into each other in other ports. John and Carol were planning on sailing across the lake to Toronto next and then they will lower their mast and head down the Erie Canal to the Hudson River where they can put their mast up again. They will sail/cruise down the Intracoastal Waterway to Cuba or maybe Haiti and spend the winter.
