2005 Thursday for us started with the Harry Allen / Joe Cohn Quartet. These guys were great players but they had very little edge and we need that for some reason. They all wore suits and ties and they were so polite. On another night we might have loved these guys but we couldn't help but think of what we might be missing. We headed over to Milestones for Mad Science but didn't care for them. Can't remember why really.
