The Rochester Beat graphic in the upper left hand corner of these pages used to to have a blue floral symbol that looked a lot like the blue floral symbol that the City of Rochester uses for their logo. In fact my sister-in-law worked for a group that designed the logo for the city. To my surprise, the city has employees reading the Refrigerator on company time and we got the following two emails. We addressed the matter and completely understand the city's position. The green photo above is a close up of our trash can.

Dear Refrigerator,
Subject: Use of City Logo on you website
Hi, that's our city logo on your website. Please give me a call so we can talk about it. Thanks.
